Terms of Service — Semi Locator

Effective Date: December 27, 2025

Welcome to Semi Locator (“Semi Locator,” “we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Semi Locator website, mobile experience, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) What Semi Locator Is

Semi Locator provides a map-based platform that may display user-submitted or partner-submitted “signals” such as driver check-ins, shipper requests, equipment/asset listings, and similar logistics-related location markers (collectively, “Signals”). The Service is informational and meant to help users discover opportunities and communicate faster.

We are not a freight broker, carrier, dispatcher, shipper, 3PL, or transportation provider. We do not guarantee loads, pricing, availability, or outcomes.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3) Accounts and Access

Some features may require an account or purchase to access. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

We may refuse service, suspend, or terminate access if we believe usage violates these Terms or harms the Service or other users.

4) Signals, Accuracy, and Safety

Signals may be created by users and may be time-sensitive, incomplete, or inaccurate.

No guarantee: We do not guarantee that any Signal is current, valid, safe, or legitimate.

Use your judgment: Always verify details independently before acting.

No safety assurance: Do not rely on the Service for emergency response, law enforcement, medical, or roadside safety services.

5) User Content and Acceptable Use

You may be able to submit content to the Service, including Signals, text, photos, and notes (“User Content”).

You agree not to:

Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive Signals

Post personal data of others without permission (phone numbers, addresses, identifying details)

Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against others

Upload malware, attempt to hack, scrape, or interfere with the Service

Use the Service for illegal activity, including solicitation of illegal loads or unlawful conduct

We can remove User Content at any time for any reason, including policy violations or risk.

6) Location Features

Some features may rely on location data (precise or approximate), including displaying your position on a map or centering the map around your area.

You control device-level permissions. You can disable location sharing in your device settings, though some features may not work as intended.

7) Purchases, Subscriptions, and Refunds

Semi Locator may offer paid access, subscriptions, or upgrades.

Prices and features may change at any time.

Refunds (if any) are handled according to the checkout method used (for example, a web checkout provider or an app store provider).

If you purchased through an app store, that store’s billing and refund rules apply.

8) Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party tools (for example mapping, analytics, notifications, hosting, or form/database services). Your use of those third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or outages.

9) Intellectual Property

The Service and its design, branding, and code are owned by Semi Locator or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law.

10) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEMI LOCATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US (IF ANY) IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

12) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Semi Locator from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13) Termination

You may stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend or terminate access at any time if we believe you violated these Terms or if continued access poses risk to the Service or users.

14) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
